The participation of ESTECO will consist in the presentation of the paper Multi-Disciplinary Optimization with Standard Co-Simulation Interfaces.
The paper, prepared in collaboration with the University of Calabria, provides a short discussion about currently available standards for the interconnection and optimization of complex engineering systems, comprising work in progress focused on the definition of new industrial standards. The paper is complemented with results of multi-objective optimizations obtained with modeFRONTIER in co-simulation problems defined with OpenModelica. The models, which belong to the electronic and mechanical domains, have been integrated into the co-simulation environment by using the FMI standard.
