The 5th edition of the ESTECO North American Users' Meeting will take place on October 24th-25th, 2017 at the Ford Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan. The gathering of modeFRONTIER and VOLTA enthusiasts provides a unique forum for sharing knowledge and learning about the latest applications, methods, and techniques used to advance product innovation through simulation and design optimization.
Optimizing waste reduction at HI-SEAS, NASA-funded Mars simulation habitat
HI-SEAS Mission V, the Earth-based Mars simulation habitat implemented by the University of Hawaii and funded by NASA, uses the ESTECO flagship software, modeFRONTIER, to optimize the resources used by the six-member crew during their analog isolation at Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii. modeFRONTIER will help the astronaut-like researchers develop system models for sustainable living on Mars, in particular in terms of waste reduction and sustainable lifestyle.

Best of luck for the first sail in Bermuda's for the Groupama Team France! The Groupama Team France arrived in the Bermuda's in the light of the 35th America's cup, which will take place from May 26th to June 27th. As a technical partner of Land Rover BAR, we are excited to see the team setting sail in Bermuda on board of the high-tech racing catamaran with which Sir Ben Ainslie and his crew hope to win the 35th America’s Cup. This ambition took solid form this week with the launch and christening of their America’s Cup Class race boat, Rita – the name carried by all 19 of Ben’s previous Olympic and world championship winning boats.

ESTECO joins new research projects: Composelector, UTOPIAE, Double Face 2.0, ESA ITI
ESTECO is proud to participate in numerous European, Regional and Interregional research projects where the exchange of ideas helps identify and develop new fields of application for our optimization technology. In 2016 three European projects were funded: UTOPIAE, Double Face 2.0, ESA ITI (funded by European Space Agency). In 2017 ESTECO is taking part in COMPOSELECTOR project funded by the European Union through the EU Horizon 2020 programme.
EnginSoft and ModeFrontier at the 6th International Conference on Laser Peening in South Africa
The ESTECO multi-objective optimization platform, modeFRONTIER, was prestented at the 6th edition of the International Conference on Laser Peening and Related Phenomena, which took place in Gauteng Province, South Africa from 06 - 11 November 2016. The event was hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand in collaboration with the The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Laser Centre.
