The Team
Our team, with over 30 people, counts young and experienced engineers and IT scientists, actively engaged in a variety of assignments, from system integration and business intelligence to numerical analysis and enterprise solutions. The daily activities include research and development, customer training, and engineering and support services.

- Carlo Poloni
Carlo Poloni
Carlo Poloni received a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987, the same course that he now teaches at the University of Trieste, Italy. His working experience includes working at the space division of Aeritalia (Italian aerospace company) and Sincrotrone Trieste, before joining the University of Trieste as a researcher focusing on Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation, where he eventually became a Professor. In 1999 he co-founded ESTECO as a University spin-off, and is now the company’s PRESIDENT. He has published more than a hundred papers in refereed journals and proceedings and has consulted with various companies and international organizations.

- Luka Onesti
Luka Onesti
Luka Onesti graduated in Electronics Engineering at the University of Trieste and subsequently was visiting researcher at the University of Bergen (Norway). He was involved in the European founded project Frontier and has been one of the original developers of the platform modeFRONTIER. He is one of the co-founders of ESTECO and is now the company’s CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER where he leads and coordinates the development team.

Enrico Nobile
Enrico Nobile, Mechanical Engineer, is full Professor of Thermodynamics and Thermal-fluids at the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Environmental Engineering and Head of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trieste. Co-founder of ESTECO, is the author or co-author of more than 80 scientific publications and works as SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR for the company.
