Although ESTECO s.r.l. started off as a software development company, we soon realized that, to reap the maximum benefits from our advanced tools, clients often needed to evolve their IT infrastructure and design processes. To aid them in this endeavor we then decided to hire new highly skilled people and to create a consulting unit. This unit has since evolved considerably, and while we have abandoned some activities (e.g., we were among the forerunners in the deployment of industrialstrength Linux clusters, nowadays provided directly by hardware vendors), we have developed others, less tied to the products we develop. The result of this evolution is that we are now able to offer to our clients a wide range of services, both in the engineering design and in the Information Technology realms.
