Advanced methods for CFD optimization and model calibration in fluid machinery
ESTECO Academy, jointly with Purdue's MAHA Lab organizes the workshop on Advanced methods for CFD optimization and model calibration in fluid machinery to be held on June 14th 2016 at the Purdue University.
The focus of the workshop is to discuss and explore the use of latest numerical optimization techniques to study, design and optimize fluid machines and fluid systems. Nowadays, the combination of simulation models able to capture the physical phenomena characterizing the operation of fluid components with advanced optimization strategies techniques offers enormous potentials for detailed analysis and virtual prototyping.
The workshop will be held at the Maha Fluid Power Center of Purdue University with the support of ESTECO. The schedule of the workshop includes technical presentations on various optimization cases, given by Purdue Researchers, Prof. Enrico Nobile from the University of Trieste (Italy) and two guest speakers from Cummins.
The workshop will also include a visit of the Maha Fluid Power Research Center during the morning, and a training session(*) on modeFRONTIER during the afternoon.
