The winner of ESTECO Academy Design Competition receives recognition from ESTECO President during UM17
We had the pleasure to host Michael Bambula, the winner of the ESTECO Academy Design Competition 2016/2017, at our Users' Meeting in Detroit (UM17). On October 24th, Bambula presented his winning design and received a plaque of recognition from the ESTECO President, Carlo Poloni.
Students of the Professional Master’s Degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, organized by Aeronautical Technology Institute (ITA) in partnership with EMBRAER will benefit from advanced education on design optimization methods and tools.

modeFRONTIER helped the Clemson CEDAR group optimize the process parameters in Direct Metal Deposition (DMD) Fabrication Process - a 3D printing process for metal, similar to welding, using powders instead of wire.
Early stage researchers with a Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics can apply for the scholarship opportunity at the ESTECO HQs in Trieste. ESTECO is proud to sponsor the 2016/2017 edition of the Student Design/Build/Fly (DBF) Competition, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The contest provides a real-world aircraft design experience for engineering students by giving them the opportunity to validate their analytic studies. We will provide AIAA DBF teams with a free ESTECO Academy membership, including the use of modeFRONTIER multidisciplinary optimization platform and access to our online training materials.
