Italian Agile Day 2015
ESTECO is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Italian Agile Day (IAD) Conference, to be held on the 6th and 7th November in Brescia, Italy. The IAD focuses on Agile methods for the development and management of software projects. The conference is free and open to the public.
Agile methodology adheres to the Agile Manifesto, published in 2001 by a group of software developers seeking to improve the development process. Today, Agile is quickly becoming one of the most commonly used work practices in the software industry. Agile offers a variety of techniques that companies can use to suit their production needs; ESTECO, for example, has successfully been using the Scrum system for a number of years.
Agile organizations achieve greater productivity because they are able to improve the quality of their work by developing features incrementally, over a very short cycles, often of one to two weeks. The software delivered is usually supported by a suite of automated tests that control the accuracy of the process.
The conference is targeted at software developers, project leaders, IT managers, testers, architects, and coaches interested in Agile, offering attendees the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences.
The event is organized by the Italian Agile Movement, a non-profit organization of professionals and academics brought together by a mutual desire to promote Agile culture in Italy.
