The International Conference on Uncertainty Quantification & Optimisation (UQOP) is going to be held as a virtual event from 16 to 19 November 2020.

Organised by the H2020 ETN UTOPIAE, UQOP gathers internationally renowned researchers developing methods in the fields of optimization and uncertainty quantification. The conference themes cover all related aspects of computational uncertainty management and optimization in the presence of uncertainty, with a particular emphasis on the case of complex numerical models and large simulation infrastructures.

Being a partner of the European research and training network UTOPIAE, we're co-organizer of the Symposium on Robust and Reliability-Based Design Optimisation in Aerospace Engineering (RBDO) which is scheduled for Monday 16 November, including the two presentations below:

- Alberto Clarich and Rosario Russo - "Reliability-based Robust Design Optimization of a Jet Engine Nacelle" from 11:00 to 12:00 AM (CET)

- Peter Zeno Korondi - "Multi-objective design optimisation of an airfoil with geometrical uncertainties leveraging multi-fidelity Gaussian process regression" from 4:45 to 5:15 PM (CET).
