Multiobjective Electromagnetic Optimization of RF components
Identify the best robust RF design solutions in an easier and faster way. Optimization procedures for 3 three RF components are presented: seven-element antenna array, isoflux antenna for LEO satellite down-handling link and 3D cavity filter.
The problem was solved by coupling the CST STUDIO SUITE with modeFRONTIER using the direct integration node. modeFRONTIER optimization algorithms piloted the CST simulations so as to reach the design objectives while respecting the set constraints.
The engineers used the modeFRONTIER sensitivity analysis tools to identify the most important variables affecting the RF component design. Moreover, modeFRONTIER design process automation capabilities allowed engineers to save time and focus on their specific tasks.
