Parametric analysis of heat exchanger for thermoelectric heat pump
The purpose of this work is the implementation of a standard and well proven procedure for the optimization of Heat Exchangers' performance for general thermoelectric applications. The interest in investigating such a methodology comes up as a consequence of a new production technology just developed for finned heat exchanger. This technology is able to obtain performance's enhancements from many degrees of freedom taking their origins either from geometrical parameters and/or different materials properties. The needs for looking for the best compromise in term of geometrical and material properties has given a function goal to optimize. The additional presence of some constrain to be considered and not negligible has open the opportunity to approach the study through a parametric analysis, using modeFrontier' potential coupled with a computational fluid dynamic code, Fluent.
