ANSYS develops, markets and supports engineering simulation software used to foresee how product designs will behave and how manufacturing processes will operate in real-world environments. The company offers advanced simulation solutions by integrating developed or acquired technology into a unified and simulation platform that allows engineers to perform complex simulations involving the interaction of multiple physics and by providing system services to manage simulation processes and data.


The partnership is focused on developing complementary solutions to modeFRONTIER and ANSYS customers by integrating the functionality of the Workbench suite into the modeFRONTIER environment.


AVL, a competent partner to the powertrain and automotive industry, develops all kinds of powertrain systems and simulation methods and tools for development. AVL products include instruments and systems for powertrain and vehicle testing.


BETA CAE Systems
BETA CAE Systems is a private engineering software company committed to the development of state of the art CAE software systems that meet the requirements of all simulation disciplines. The company’s products, the ANSA pre-processor/ EPILYSIS solver and META post-processor suite, and SPDRM, the simulation-process- data-and- resources manager, hold a worldwide leading position across a range of industries, including the automotive, railway vehicles, aerospace, motorsports, chemical processes engineering, energy, electronics, heavy machinery, power tools, and biomechanics.


The partnership is focused on developing complementary solutions for the combining of ANSA, and META and modeFRONTIER into efficient optimization cycles.

CST’s targets mainly the Telecommunications, Defense, Automotive, Electronics, and Medical Equipment industries. The partnership is focused on delivering complementary solutions to modeFRONTIER and SIMULIA customers by extending the functionality of the Abaqus suite.


e-Xstream engineering is a software and engineering services company 100% focused on state-of-the-art multi-scale modeling of complex multi-phase composites materials and structures (PMC, RMC, MMC, nanocomposites, hard metals, etc). e-Xstream provides its customers with a complete and optimal modeling solution that suits their specific needs and integrates their existing design processes; from the compounding of the raw material (e.g. engineering plastics, rubber, CFRP, hard metals, nanocomposites, sandwich panels, etc.) to the processing (e.g. injection molding) and application in the final product.


e-Xstream engineering develops and commercializes the Digimat suite of software, a state-of-the-art multi-scale material modeling technology that speeds up the development process for composite materials and structures. Digimat is used to perform detailed analyses of materials on the microscopic level and to derive micromechanical material models suited for multi-scale coupling of the micro- and macroscopic level. Digimat material models provide the means to combine processing simulation with structural FEA.


GT | Gamma Technologies
Gamma Technologies is the developer of GT-SUITE, a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) CAE system simulation tool. It provides a broad set of validated 0D/1D/3D multi-physics component libraries simulating the physics of fluid flow, thermal, mechanical, multi-body, structural, electrical, magnetic, chemistry, and controls. Utilizing these libraries, models can be built of practically any engineering system.


ESTECO and Gamma Technologies have joined forces to offer their customers reliable advanced simulation capabilities based on the complementary strengths of GT-SUITE and of modeFRONTIER. ESTECO has developed customized graphical user interface for GT-SUITE for linking these two tools.

In this combination, GT-SUITE solves the detailed physics based simulation while modeFRONTIER acts as a wrapper environment for advanced optimization capabilities. modeFRONTIER’s process workflow tool can be used to perform advanced optimization studies that rely on sequential or parallel execution of multiple GT-SUITE models.

SpaceClaim offers a 3D Direct Modeling CAD-neutral software. It enables engineers and other manufacturing professionals to create new designs or manipulate and edit existing 2D and 3D geometry, without the complexity of traditional CAD. VI-grade focuses on development of plugins for popular simulation environments such as: MSC.MSC.ADAMS™,MATLAB®, different CAD-tools, real-time protocols and operating systems.


The partnership objective is to develop joint business and technical projects aiming at reciprocally broadening the application fields of the technologies from both companies. Thanks to the direct integration of modeFRONTIER with several Dynamics simulation tools, it’s possible to add optimization steps into the HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and HUIL (Human-in-the-Loop) systems developed by VI-grade.
