ESTECO Sponsors AIAA Student Design/Build/Fly Competition

ESTECO is proud to sponsor the 2016/2017 edition of the Student Design/Build/Fly (DBF) Competition, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The contest provides a real-world aircraft design experience for engineering students by giving them the opportunity to validate their analytic studies. We will provide AIAA DBF teams with a free ESTECO Academy membership, including the use of modeFRONTIER multidisciplinary optimization platform and access to our online training materials. 

 

ESTECO joins new research projects: Composelector, UTOPIAE, Double Face 2.0, ESA ITI

ESTECO is proud to participate in numerous European, Regional and Interregional research projects where the exchange of ideas helps identify and develop new fields of application for our optimization technology. In 2016 three European projects were funded: UTOPIAE, Double Face 2.0, ESA ITI (funded by European Space Agency). In 2017 ESTECO is taking part in COMPOSELECTOR project funded by the European Union through the EU Horizon 2020 programme.


EnginSoft and ModeFrontier at the 6th International Conference on Laser Peening in South Africa

The ESTECO multi-objective optimization platform, modeFRONTIER, was prestented at the 6th edition of the International Conference on Laser Peening and Related Phenomena, which took place in Gauteng Province, South Africa from 06 - 11 November 2016. The event was hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand in collaboration with the The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Laser Centre

Keynotes announced: NASA, Air Force and Lucid Motors join the ESTECO Technology Day lineup

As the inaugural ESTECO Technology Day is approaching, we are pleased to announce three high-profile keynote speakers who will join the lineup at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on 21 March, 2017: Adam Wroblewski from the NASA Glenn Research Center, Darcy Allison and Steven M. Iden from the Air Force Research Laboratory and David Moseley from Lucid Motors.

modeFRONTIER UM16 Proceedings now available!

We are pleased to announce that the modeFRONTIER International Users' Meeting 2016 proceedings are now available in our resource center. With 38 presentations given last May in Trieste (Italy), the conference proceedings cover several engineering stories across every industrial sector. Skim the abstracts and learn how innovative customers and partners used our design optimization technology to gain and maintain leadership in their respective fields.

Cyan Racing, the official motorsport partner of Polestar (Volvo Cars), has been using modeFRONTIER to optimize the performance of its race cars since 2008. The company’s Chief Race Engineer, Per Blomberg, participated in the 7th modeFRONTIER International Users' Meeting, pointing out to the benefits of ESTECO technology in terms of finding the best setup for each racing circuit. 

ESTECO Academy Design Competition: 233 qualified participants from 20+ countries

The registration deadline for the ESTECO Academy Design Challenge in partnership with Aprilia Racing and Gamma Technologies closed on Wednesday, 30 November. More than 500 individuals from over 30 countries have expressed their interest. Out of these, 233 have qualified to compete by satisfying all the criteria of the call.
